Recovery, Ohio. Mr. McMahon is a descendant of Major William Friend McMahon, 4th Sub-Legion,
Legion of the United States. Major McMahon was killed at the Battle of Fort Recovery (present
Fort Recovery, Ohio), June 30, 1794. Mr. McMahon is descended from William F. McMahon's first
son, William F. McMahon, Junior.
