ALL THINGS WAYNE

Here is some trivia you may not know about Anthony Wayne.

1) He is the only American general buried in two places:

 A) Erie, Pennsylvania 

B) Radnor, Pennsylvania

2) Anthony Wayne's Great-great grandfather was John Wayne.

3) Marian Morrison when a young man breaking into films chose the stage name Anthony Wayne.  Thinking this sounded too Italian he chose a nice "American" name like John.

4) Batman named after Anthony Wayne...come on!  Batman's creator chose the name Bruce from Robert the Bruce and Wayne from Anthony Wayne.  Bruce Wayne,  the character has a grandfather who is a Revolutionary War hero.  Yes General Anthony Wayne.

5) Wayne was incredibly popular in the 1920's and 30's.  Companies were named after him, products from cars to bubble gum and washing machines, books, magazines, banks and stock to name a few.
